Well, that was a whooping good way to open a new year. After having done my last convention at Stratford in December, I was hard pressed trying to decide what would be my first con of the year, preparing for a few other events that unfortunately were cancelled.
However, I did get the chance to attend as a trader at Science of the Time Lords at Leicester's awesome National Space Centre. I mean, quite possibly the coolest place to hold a convention for a start! The fans and costumes and Doctor Who royalty that attended the event looked awesome against the space landscape. I was also incredibly lucky to be able to get a hug from Katy Manning and Lou Jameson when I gave them art prints. This particular convention meant the world to me because of that. But it wasn't just the guests that were amazing, my fellow artists were awesome too! Chris Achilléos, book cover illustrator for the beautiful Target Novels that have inspired fans since the 1970s was one of many of the artists I had the honour to share a stage with at my first ever Q&A. I also was joined by Stuart Manning, Carolyn Edwards, Grant Perkins and Chris Thompson. I am very lucky to announce I've already been invited back for next year, so if you're looking for a great family filled day out that you can take a Who fan for a late Christmas present, don't look any further than Science of the Time Lords next event! I might even see you there!

As it's only fair when Doctor Who On Twitch has returned to our screens. I spent the first three days really plowing and trying to get a lot of drawing done and in the process burnt my gears a little but you can find the drawing below.
I'm also going to be away and have another job that means I'm away from my desk which makes it harder to be as focused as last time, but it's always worth a shot! I loved my doodles and might find a way to tighten some of these and make them full illustrations. It's been a very busy drawing year, and it only gets busier as time goes on, but thank you so much for being here at all reading these posts.
